When planning scuba diving trips it is important to remember the certifications that will be needed in some parts of the excursion. While plenty of opportunities exist for the beginning divers, there will be destinations that require expert certification on all or part of the scheduled scuba diving trips. Colder waters may require a dry suit while in many warmer climates a wet suit or what is called a semi-fry suit may fit the bill. Traveling around the world on scuba diving trips is not unusual for those enthralled with the sport but carrying the heavy and bulky tanks on dry land can be a challenge. Many divers will carry some of their own personal equipment and rent that which is too difficult to transport.

Even with their own equipment, diving guides will still want to insure it is in the proper condition to insure a safe and successful diving experience.
